The past price rise see's the owner pocketing 0.80 per litre.. and most of the petrol station had sold out signs placed out. Miracalously by midnight after the petrol prices has been updated, workers removed these sign and the petrol station resumes business.

Now government announces that the price will drop. Owners are saying that they will lose out if they keep too much stock. If my maths is correct, 0.80-0.25=0.55. One still earned quite a large sum of money from the price increase. By not having enough petrol supply, these owners had inconvenient the public especially knowing that its the festive season.

Petrol companies should enforce some rule and these owners should comply in order to avoid future such incidents since the government will be revising prices every now and then. You and your kiasu-ism. Why don't you spend it in SG??? The only reason your people brave through all the traffic and hassle is because things are way cheaper here in Malaysia. Think of it this way, you are away on a holiday and you rent a vehicle. You still shop and spend all you like on top of the vehicle rental rate.. So why the big fuss when you are stopped from buying M'sian subsidised fuel since a couple more quid will make no difference once you convert back to SGD. Treat it as an inflation in SG, everywhere price is going up. Both these founding fathers of Malaysia died outside Umno. They wanted to have nothing to do with Umno. They went to their graves despising the new Umno, which they said no longer represented what Umno stood for.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

The government is saying: Melayu Umno bodoh! That is not what I am saying. That is what the government is saying. And because Melayu Umno bodoh, the government has cancelled the plan to mark the fingers of voters to prevent them from voting twice.

The government has spent millions to import this ink from India. But it seems others have also imported the same so the government has no choice but to cancel the plan to mark the voters' fingers because these unknown people who have also imported this ink plan to trick the Umno Malays and sabotage them from voting.

According to the government that has declared Melayu Umno bodoh, those who have also imported the Indian ink plan to tell the government supporters, the Umno Malays, that they must first mark their fingers before they can vote. Then, when they go to the polling stations, they will not be allowed to vote since their fingers have already been marked with Indian ink.

Of course, the more cleverer opposition supporters will not allow their fingers to be marked before they vote. It is only the government supporters, the Melayu Umno bodoh, whose fingers will be marked. So the opposition supporters will still get to vote. It is the government supporters, the Melayu Unmo bodoh, who will not be allowed to vote because only these people would be stupid enough to allow their fingers to be marked before they vote rather than after they vote like the opposition supporters.

The government appears to have no confidence in its supporters. The government feels that its supporters are all stupid enough to fall for this ploy. The government appears to believe that the opposition supporters are not stupid enough to fall for this trick. Therefore, it is the government that will lose votes because only its supporters are stupid enough to allow their fingers to be marked before they vote while this will not happen to the opposition supporters.

The government feels that the Chinese and Indians will swing to the opposition. Many Malays will as well, of course. So the government needs as many Malay votes as it can get, in particular in the rural areas. The Chinese and Indians who will vote opposition will not fall for this trick. Neither will the Malays who vote for the opposition. It is only the Malays who vote for the government who are stupid enough to fall for this trick. So the government needs to cancel the plan to use Indian ink to mark the fingers of the voters lest the number of votes it gets is reduced due to trickery.

I am not a Malay who supports the government so I am not offended that the government thinks that Malays who support the government are stupid. Some Umno Malays want my citizenship withdrawn for criticising the government and which therefore, according to them, makes me a 'traitor to the Malay race'. Yes, that's right, if you oppose Umno then you are a traitor to the Malay race.

I have no problems if they wish to withdraw my citizenship. They can even withdraw my Melayuship as well if they want to. Hey, a Malay is automatically a Muslim. So if they wish to withdraw my Islamship as well that is also okay with me. Then, when the government declares that Melayu Umno bodoh, I would not be included in that group. There is, after all, some small blessing in losing your citizenship, Melayuship and Islamship. I would automatically lose my bodohship as well.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad probably agrees with what the government says. Mahathir said, a few months ago, that the trouble with the Malays is that even if they put a block of wood (tunggul kayu) as a candidate, as long as it is a Barisan Nasional candidate, the voters will vote for him or her.

The Malays are very emotional and unrealistic, lamented Mahathir on another occasion. The Chinese are more pragmatic, added Mahathir. Why can't the Malays be more like the Chinese? sighed Mahathir.

Melayu mudah lupa, complained Mahahir on yet another occasion. Yes, Mahathir should know that by now. When I was Prime Minister, the Umno Malays would fall over each other in rushing to kiss my hands, Mahathir related during one public speaking event. Today, they are scared of being seen with me and will not even take my calls, lamented Mahathir. If that is not the best example of Melayu mudah lupa then I don't know what is.

Mahathir received another dose of Melayu mudah lupa recently when Umno refused to allow his son to contest in Langkawi. Langkawi would not exist if not because of Mahathir. Mahathir made Langkawi into what it is today. But, today, Mahathir's son is not welcome in Langkawi. Instead, they sent him to Jerlun to contest. But he was sent to Jerlun not to win. He was sent to Jerlun to be slaughtered. First they deny Mahathir's son a seat in Langkawi. Then they send him to Jerlun to get slaughtered. Melayu Umno mudah lupa my dear Tun, Melayu Umno mudah lupa. But I am not a Melayu Umno, Tun, so I never lupa. And now Umno says that Melayu Umno bodoh as well.

Yesterday, I was in Penang. There were numerous ceramahs organised all over Penang. The police granted the organisers permits for these ceramahs but on condition that I would be barred from speaking. Haris Ibrahim and Ronnie Lui were also banned from speaking. I still spoke nevertheless. I spoke at Jalan Raja Uda. I was waiting for the police to come a calling and if they shout, “Hoi, you think this is your grandfather's road or what?” I would have replied, “Yes it is, my grandfather was Raja Sir Tun Uda.”

Melayu Mudah lupa, as Mahathir says. My grandfather became Penang's First Governor immediately after Merdeka on 31 August 1957. He was Governor for 15 years. Today, 50 years later, the grandson of the First Governor is barred from speaking in Penang.

Anyway, my grandfather never joined Umno. None of my family did. My father supported what he perceived as the first true multi-racial party at that time, Gerakan. And he proudly declared that he voted for Gerakan in the 11 May 1969 general election.

Tunku Abdul Rahman, Bapa Merdeka, refused to join Umno Baru in 1988, as did Tun Hussein Onn. Both these founding fathers of Malaysia died outside Umno. They wanted to have nothing to do with Umno. They went to their graves despising the new Umno, which they said no longer represented what Umno stood for. Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Hussein were great men. And these great men turned their backs on Umno. I would rather follow the footsteps of great men such as those than support a party that declares Melayu Umno bodoh and then cancels the plan to mark the fingers of voters because government supporters would allow their fingers to be marked before they vote instead of after.

Actually, cancelling the plan to mark the fingers of voters is not about Melayu Umno bodoh at all. I know many Umno Malays and I have great respect for them. Not all Umno Malays are slimeballs and scumbags, just like not all opposition people are angels. You have good and bad people in any society. One must not be labelled good or bad based on their race, religion or political affiliation but based on the person that they are.

Barisan Nasional is running scared. According to intelligence agency reports, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Kedah and Penang will fall to the opposition. Even Johor, which has never seen a single seat fall to the opposition thus far, may see the loss of ten seats or more. That would have been unheard of even just one year ago. On last count, the opposition may capture up to 90 seats in Parliament. It needs 75 seats to deny Barisan Nasional its two-thirds majority in Parliament.

The Chinese and Indian votes are a forgone conclusion. The Chinese and Indians are voting opposition. Barisan Nasional has to work on the Malay seats to stay in power. So they will raise racial and religious issues these next 48 hours to frighten the Malays into voting Barisan Nasional.

Tonight, the Deputy Prime Minister 'revealed' a 'secret pact' between PAS and DAP. They hope the Chinese will get scared and abandon DAP lest PAS gets into power and 'chops of people's hands'. Najib has reduced Islam to merely 'chopping of hands'. That, to Najib, is what Islam is all about, hand-chopping.

Are all Chinese bank robbers? Will we see every Chinese in Malaysia without hands once PAS comes into power? Do not the Chinese resent the insinuation that there is not an honest Chinese in Malaysia and all Chinese will go to their graves with no hands? I hope the Chinese are not that stupid and will be able to figure out that if it is crooks who will suffer severed limbs then it will be those who walk in the corridors of power who will suffer this since they are the crooks and scoundrels. If I were Chinese, I would vote PAS just so that PAS can come into power and we can enjoy the pleasure of seeing all our ex-ministers walking around without hands.

Anyway, PAS is contesting just 60 seats so there is no way a party that contests only 60 seats can win 150 seats. And PAS will need 150 seats to amend the Federal Constitution of Malaysia and turn Malaysia into an Islamic State and then start cutting off the hands of crooks and bank robbers. The government has said Melayu Umno bodoh. I hope, after 8 March 2008, I do not have to start saying Cina DAP bodoh. I hope that the DAP Chinese will read the statement from PAS that they are not pursuing the Islamic State agenda any longer. They can't anyway, even if they win all the 60 seats they are contesting -- and they can never win all the 60 seats to begin with.

Najib says that the Chinese should reject DAP because DAP is working with PAS and PAS supports an Islam State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support an Islamic State. Najib says that the Malays should reject PAS because PAS is working with DAP and DAP supports a Secular State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support a Secular State. To the Malays, Najib says he does not support a Secular State and, to the Chinese, he says he does not support an Islamic State. So what then does Najib support? Well, it all depends on who he talks to. If he talks to the Chinese, he will whack the Islamic State and, if he talks to the Malays, he will whack the Secular State. Najib thinks that Melayu Umno bodoh and Cina DAP bodoh as well. Yang pandai Najib seorang saja.

Expect more of this the next 48 hours as Polling Day gets closer. Desperate people will do desperate things. And the loss of five states plus 90 seats in Parliament requires desperate measures. That will be what will happen these next 48 hours. Tapi jangan Melayu dan Cina semua jadi bodoh. India sudah celek mata. Melayu dan Cina maseh tutup mata ke?"

Price hike after Elections?

Something to ponder about..

At first our Pak Lah say that the parliment won't be dissolved, but IT DID on the same day the newspaper published that it won't.

As of late, Pak Lah said that there won't be a price hike in fuel. There's a police patrol car, policemen armed with sub-machine guns filmed in some open public place. Imagine the poor chap that was being 'framed'. In Malaysia, anyone caught carrying drugs are punishable by law to the death penalty. Imagine the target or the target's family member who was not wary of the prank and has a heart attack. If unforseen incident's happen, who would bear the responsibility? The prankster or the producers of the film? Another concern while using police are would the public be more wary of such pranks and take the authorities lightly? For example, you are stopped for some reason by the REAL authorities but you know that a prank program exists thus you try to be funny and think its all a prank, thus taking whatever being said lightly.. When charges are pressed, who's the one laughing? Can we then sue them, the producers?

In another distasteful prank, there's 2 hillbillies lookalike aka orang kampung looking at the sky, apparently pointing at something, while asking the public to look up. What's so funny about that? Please clean up your act and get some genuine humour rather than some lame ol stuff.

PS: That's the reason why I don't watch locally produced programs.

Astro Channel 200

If most of you all didn't noticed, there used to be a free games channel here at 200 where one can play mind boggling games like boxes, reversi and the likes for free. Recently my aunt tried to enroll her daughter into a nearby chinese school. She prepared a photocopy of both her's and the father's MyKad and also other relevant (that she thinks is necessary) document together with her. She queued up early morning together with the other hopeful parents, filling in forms and other pre-requisite for the enrollment. Little that she knows, trouble is about to strike when submitting the documents to the clerk.

The clerk made a fuss about different registered address for both father and child. That's not a real problem right? I'm sure some of us are having our hometown mailing address or some place if we're not locals or have recently shifted... My aunt has brought the required utility bills as proof of residence but is rejected by the clerk, on terms that there's a lot of fraud case, and that the bill is not the same name as my uncle. WTF??? If the residence that we're staying in is a family house, and those bills doesn't have our name, does that mean that we do not live there? The clerk has the nerves to ask my aunt to do the necessary changed to either of the utility bill to have the father's name put into it. What's the point of having MyKad when the details are not acceptable. My aunt asked around for alternative and was refered to the assistant principle.

There she submit the application to the vice principle and was inform of the same problem and that its a guideline given by the government. My aunt tried to reason with the vice principle and luckily it was understood. "Yes you're right about the condition" said the vice principle(VP). VP then asked to produce the birthcert to show that the name on the utility bill and my uncle was related. WTF??? What if the house was rented? Then parent's couldn't enroll thier child?
Again my aunt debated, and again the VP accepted that.

VP then asked for a letter from the listed name prooving that they stay there, together with the IC. Triple WTF!!!! If its a rented or the owner is overseas, how to get hold of them? Again debated and accepted but this is not the case for my aunt as she returned in the afternoon with the letter, IC, and also the PERSON himself to register. Luckily the ordeal is over having the application form submitted but she hear that there'll be another round of registration at the end of the year to confirm the placement.

After the whole ordeal, she was approached another parent who was there to pick up her child. She suggested some 'methods' that she used to enroll her child as she also had face the same problem. Since this incident happened not a peep of this has surfaced in our local newspaper. Placed on the ledge of the rubbish bin was a clean, white dry-cleaning laundry bag. Seeing the bag was still in good condition, he thought of wanting the bag for his own use, so without much hesitation, the tenant goes near and open the bag to empty out the contents.

He saw something wrapped in towel and he unwrap the white towel to find another layer of towel but this time its a pooh towel. His curiosity got the better of him and he unwrapped the 2nd layer of towel and pop out comes a small infant head wrapped in toilet paper. He quickly came and asked to contact the authorities. Hmmm seeing how capable our authorities on TV, we thought that its only a matter of minutes since there's a police station nearby.

The first sign of a partol car came to about 1500 hours, an hour later. Talk about efficiency. There's already a small crowd of tenants around the garbage area, wondering who would be so cruel, speculating that it might be the work of illegal workers as there is a few household of non-m'sian in the block. The officer was speaking with the tenant who made the discovery, held a lit cigarette, and was talking on his mobile while checking out the bundle. What the heck?!?

From first glance, the body is fair thus assumptions made are done by china residents as the hotel and apartment nearby does house a lot of china student and tourist. Day became dark as it started to rain quite heavily. Police are still hanging around 'chatting' while waiting for the photographer which eventually arrive. Who and from where, didn't stay long enough to find out but the whole ordeal ended about 1800 hours.

New Public Transport System (BUS)

I've not taken the bus for oh such a long time now, and today I had taken some time to look at the bees and the birds and the busses. There's been so many new addition to the existing fleet of busses. What's most interesting is the Big Blue and Green round sticker which is very prominently placed on the top right of the main windscreen of the bus.

Green means area bus, while Blue means inter-zone bus, or something similar. People used to be able to get a bus from their own home to downtown KL city, but now with the new system, the public would be paying more, hassle more since they will be required to change bus. Traditionally, one will be able to travel to KL for a minimal price of RM 2.00 from my home. Now I would have to take a bus down to KL Central, then change of bus to KL city.

I have now actually ride on the bus and have a first hand experience, but listening to my mom who uses it frequently, its quite a hassle. Instead of waiting for a bus, we would now have to wait for a few busses, and the cream of the crop is that there's tens and hundreds of people waiting for the same bus getting into KL city. Imagine this, elderly people who has a hard time climbing up the stairs, would now have a field day getting up and down from one bus to the next.

The new ticketing system of a fixed price for a day's travel is also something to shout about. Wow, imagine spending the whole day in the bus rounding the city getting from one shopping mall to the next for a fixed price of RM2.00. What a steal, this would make the lives of taxi cab drivers miserable and turn into rogues as they can hardly earn a day's living. How do they overcome these obstacles? The only method I know is to overcharge the customers by either price negotiation (IMHO will be cheaper than the next alternative) or by tampering with the fare meter (which was highlighted in our local TheStar newspaper few days back). They can change the speed of the meter to charge at a faster rate.

The bus companies once wanted a fare increase but was declined by public dissatisfaction to buckle up before charging higher price, but with this move it seems to be a loophole for these busses operator.
Public have to take more bus trips.
Pay more since there are different bus operators.
Wait for a longer time as everyone will be bottlenecked at some point of transition.

Invasion of Privacy

I haven't gone to the cinema for a long period of time due to my buzy schedule. Nothing seem to changed much. Always the ever long queue to the ticketing booth, the refreshments counter, and oh yes, the rush of people entering the cinema when the theather is open for admission.

But hold on a minute, something seems to have changed here. They are doing a body/property inspection on patrons?!? This is new. I wonder what are they searching for? Drugs? Outside food? or maybe videorecoders perhaps...

Guess what? They are now requesting patrons who carry state of the art handphones with camera to keep them at the counter! This is discrimination!!! Don't the know that they can't do that or can they? What if anthing happens to the phone or worse yet an emergency call? Who would bear the responsiblity?

Yes, their intention is good, combat cinema piracy but have they done a through thought about the impact? I've read an article about a cinema uses a frequency jammer to disable phones from ringing but was duely removed as they found themselves with a lawsuit.

Everyone heard and know about the 'stolen' video clips that has surfaced on the internet recently and has become headlines. By surrendering your phones, culprits would have a lot of time to go through personal data (assuming security has ben compromised). Your pictures, information, contacts, and data are at risk.

Paranoid Parents

How times has changed since when I was a kid. Seeing parents today compared to those from the past has really made me realise that society today has progress into a KIASU society. We Malaysian have always label our Singapore counterpart as KIASU but who are we to label people when we are also KIASU.

Now don't flame me as yet as I haven't narrow down to Malaysian KIASUness. When I was a child, I used to have so much fun playing with my peers and enjoying my childhood times. How many of you agree on this?

Look at the children today... What do you see? Are they the same vibrant and fun loving as we used to? The answer is NO. Parents today will enroll their child as young as 4 into pre-kindergarden/childcare center. Reason is that they the parents are afraid that their child can't cope up with their peers who kept comparing their child with others. Why must we compare? Don't they know that there's no 2 individuals that are alike in this world even tho they are twins!!! They may look alike but they are still different individuals with different characteristics.

Looking back to the times when we would have exams, our parents would advise us to do our best and nothing more. When results are out, of course there are rewards and punishments but to a certain extend. In the past, getting an A for a subject is suffice. Let's take a leap into the present, I saw a child who got 95/100 for a subject and yet the parents are scolding and physically abusing the child.

Children nowadays are so intelligent and smart that they have their self esteem and psychologically if you ask me, will haunt them forever. Imagine the trauma and pressure parents are putting on their children. Why? Is it because they themselves didn't do well in the past? Is it because they themselves felt that by having a straight A student will give them an edge over the rest?

To all parents out there who are reading my post, please take the time to reflect back on your past and hopefully see the difference of a fun and wonderful childhood that you've had and compared to what you're giving your children now.

Childhood is all about growing, having fun, sharing and learning which also should be fun!!!

Obesity: Who is responsible?

All the while there has many reports that asian people are obese.
Are we that problematic?
What causes it?
Our eating habits?
The type of food intake?
Or its the education that we receive?

I still remember when I was young, my parents would tell me to finish up all of my food else in the future I would get an ugly wife, not good to waste food as people elsewhere are suffering, etc...
With these programmed into our minds, no wonder most of us are obese!!!

BookSmart or StreetSmart?

SPM results are out, STPM results are due too. Major newspaper has highlighted that numerous students done extremely well scoring a string of A1's. Some not so pretty news are those of depressed students that didn't do well for the exams, some jumped off buildings, some broke down emotionally, some took it very hard. This doesn't end at the students themselves, most often their parents are also emotionally involved during these times. Parents of student that gotten a string of A1 and a less grade for a subject would ask how come so careless and not work a bit harder etc... But is it that important?

In the past, getting straight A's is indeed an amazing feat but today, its just a norm or nothing great to shout about. Why is that so?
Are out future generation getting smarter?
Has the standard of education dropped?

Education minister of Malaysia is sending his children to other countries for further studies!!!
What has the above statement meant? Even our very own education minister do not believe that local education is good enough for his children what more for the public. Education no doubt is the very first stepping stone to securing a well paid job/career but is it the utmost important thing in one's life?

I do believe that everyone is born for a reason and we are equal. nobody is more superior that others. Everyone of us has their own distinctive qualities that make us unique. No two individuals are alike be it twins or strangers. We should not compare with each other but instead to learn from one another of their better qualities. Some people might be good at learning thru books but others are good at learning thru hardwork. One must not be despair because of some standard that is man made to gauge our intellectual.

I'm sure by not doing well in studies, one can excel in life once you've decided on what you're going to pursue in your life. There's a saying 'Every line/occupation has their own masters' meaning that no matter what industry/thing you do in life, you can be a master with sheer hardwork and motivation.

Take a moment to think about this given scenario in recent environment. Companies can only afford to pay so much for a job opening that has such a vast market of graduates.
Applicant A: PHD holder.
Applicant B: Cert holder.
If a company were to hire someone for a given job that both qualifies, who do you think the company will hire?
I'm sure most of you will say Applicant A.
Why? A is much more educated than B, thus making A a more suitable candidate.

Let's think from the company's point of view.
By hiring A, how long will A stay in the company? No doubt A over qualifies but in the long run, B will be more subtle to leave compared to A since other company's are also looking to take in better Applicants. Company nowadays aren't willing to part with a large salary just because you're good but because the market is overflooded with graduates that will be more than willing to gobble up the offer. Graduates are always looking for their ideal starting work thus are more demanding than their less educated counterparts, thus the unemployment rate of graduates rises.

So to those that didn't do well in their education, don't worry. You still got a lot of future in front of you...

Love II

Learn to love the people who are with you at present. Forget the
people in the past and thank them for hurting you, which led you to love
the people you have right now.

When you love someone, you'll do crazy things you can't explain, you'll
deny the truth and believein lies. When you love someone, you sacrifice,
give everything you've got and don't think twice. You risk it all no matter
what. Everything in life is temporary because everything changes. That is
why it takes courage to love, knowing it might end anytime...having faith
will make it last.

Friends are not the one who laugh when you laugh and cry when you cry. They
are the ones who make you laugh and stop you from crying. But do you know that
sometimes love enters through the back door and before you begin to notice
it, it's on it's way out.

Have you ever loved only to let it go?..
Have you ever hated someone and loved him so?..
Have you ever missed someone so bad it made you cry?
Have you ever seen someone left alone without knowing why? ..

True: Lucky is the man who wins the first love of a woman but luckier is
the woman who wins the lastlove of a man.

Love is not the right word to say when you feel guilty nor the right word
to say when you like a person but love really matters when we share our
thoughts, our minds, and our hearts...

Life has a way of changing things but not the joy that friendship brings,
for friendship is like the shining moon, makes each night a brighter one.

Love is not for beauty or color of the skin, but for a heart that is loyal
within, for beauty fades and the skin would grow old but a heart that is
loyal will never turn cold.

If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them for
they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious
to whom you open your heart.

A love is easy to feel, so hard to explain; so easy to get, so hard to let
go; so easy to spell, so hard to define...and yet everyone is still taking
the risk.
That's love !

We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find
someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and
fall in love in mutual weirdness and call it LOVE!

Never be afraid to fall in love. It may hurt a lot, it may give you aches
and pain, but if you don't follow your heart; in the end you will cry even
more for not giving love a chance.

Don't run ahead of God. Let Him direct your steps. He has plans and He has
His time. God's clock is never one minute early nor one minute late. It
always strikes right on time.

If someone loves you, love them back not only because they love you, but
also because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes
to things you have never seen or felt without them.

The past is meant to be used as a tool for the future. Bad experiences
indeed make you bitter but the lessons learned should make you better.

On letting go: it hurts to see someone you love happy with somebody else;
but wouldn't it hurt you more to see that person unhappy...with you?

When you find arms that will hold you at your weakest, eyes that will see
you at your ugliest, lips that will kiss you in both instances, and a heart
that will love you at your worst, then you have found true love.

Someday, someone might come into your life and love you in a way you always
wanted.
If your someday was yesterday.. LEARN
If your someday is tomorrow.. HOPE
If your someday is today.. CHERISH.

Cost of Dying?

Everyone's been all hyped out about how our daily living expenses has gone up, petrol increase, inflation etc, but has anyone given any thought of the cost of dying? Death has been a taboo to a lot of people but to me, its just another path that all of us are bound to take be it early or late. How prepared are we all to face death?

Little known to everyone that the cost to die is rather expensive. Yes although its a ONE TIME COST :P but we still have to prepare for it. What will happen to your loved ones after you've departed. Will they be all right? Who's going to feed them? Are they capable to survive without you? So many questions are there to be answered.... Some might think that having an insurance policy would be enough to cover or will it? To my understanding, a typical chinese funeral would cost from a few thousand into the 5 digit zone depending on how lavish and how many nights of ceremony is being held, burial land/altar space, coffin money, etc.. all adds up to a lot. If we were to utilize lavish service for example Nirvana Memorial Services, these cost can reach the sky if you can afford them.

With those thoughts in mind, are we truely prepared to die? Some people might think that by dying, mortal problems can be solved just like that, but don't you think that these people are selfish? They only think of themselves and not those around them. They not only burden their loved ones with these cost but also left them without any reasoning. Everything in life has a solution be it great or small, hard or easy. Why choose the easy way out and burden everyone else?

So before opting for an easy way out of life, try thinking of the above before DYING!!!

Love

If you're afraid to love a person because of friendship, you have two
choices: either tell what you feel and let the love take place or hide the
feeling under a friendship full of pretensions.

It's hard for two people to love each other when they live in two different
worlds but when these two worlds collide and become one, that's what you
call magic! Love can never be so beautiful without friendship. One leads to
another and the process is irreversible. The best of lovers is the greatest
of friends! I like you because you're my friend, and because you are my
friend I care, and because I care, I love you.

I don't love you because you are my friend, I love you because I do.
Sometimes I've asked myself, what would make me happy? To think that I have
everything else, I get what I want. Then I realized it was YOU, too bad
'cause it's you I can't have. I can't choose who I'm gonna love, but I also
can't just love who chooses to love me. And you can't blame me in choosing
to love you as much as I can't blame you for not learning to love me.

I'm sorry if you can't love me the way you loved the one before me, so I'll
let you go find him/her and hope someday you'll see that the one true love
you're looking for was the one who set you free.

"How can I say goodbye to someone I never had? Why do tears fall for
someone who was never mine? Why is that I miss someone I was never with and
I ask why I love someone who's love was never mine? "Isn't it funny we're
trying to catch the attention of the one we think we love; we hardly notice
the one we're really looking for was just there. You don't notice them
'till they are in the arms of someone else.

Food for thought, think of this: Have you really cared for someone more
than you expected? Have you ever tried to love him/her despite of all the
pain? Will you keep on loving him/her as he/she whispers someone else's
name? Will you? It's better to lose your pride with someone you love rather
than lose that someone you love with your useless pride.

When you love someone, don't expect that person to love you back the same
amount. One of you will be ahead, the other behind. It's either you catch
up or the other waits. When you love, you must not accept anything in
return, for if you do, you're not loving but Investing. If you love, you
must prepare to accept pain, for if you expect happiness, you're not loving
but using. True love hears what is not spoken, and understands what is not
explained, for love doesn't work in the mouth, nor the mind, but in the
heart...

Love is like standing on wet cement, the longer you stay the harder it is
to leave and you can never go without leaving your prints behind. Don't
love a person like a flower, because a flower dies in season. Love them
like a river because a riverflows forever.

Love doesn't have to have a happy ending, 'cause love doesn't have to end
at all. Never be afraid to fall in love. It may hurt a lot, it may give you
aches and pains, but if you don't follow your heart, in the end you will
cry even more for not giving love a chance.

Love may leave your heart like shattered glass, but keep in mind that
there's someone who'll be willing to endure the pain of picking up the
pieces so you could be whole again.

Reasons for the RM0.30 pertol increase

Taken from forwarded emails.
Harga minyak sepanjang zaman.. Kerajaan tidak mampu lagi menampung subsidi.

Negeri lain bukan macam negara kita.

Rakyat Malaysia rugi. Kerajaan pun hilang wang. Bila kerajaan tak cukup wang – maka potonglah subsidi minyak. Maka naik lah harga minyak 30 sen satu liter.

Malaysia Boleh!!!!

Sekian.
